NIKKI MAXWELL

STUDIO OWNER/INSTRUCTOR

Nikki is a certified dance instructor. She continues to take multiple training courses each year to stay up to date and is currently 2019-2024 certified with NDA, UDA, and USA Cheer coaching & CEU credentials. She 35 years old and the mother of a 4 year old, 8 year old, and 12 year old. She grew up in San Diego, CA where she trained with NDA each year at UCSD, home of the Trojans! In 2004, she won All American, a prestigious award that recognizes a select amount of dancers around the United States to nominate and then compete for the title. She took home a Team Leaders Circle of Winners award that same year. She trained at APA, the Academy of Performing Arts, in San Diego before she moved to Michigan in college. There, she danced with the NHL/OHL Hockey Dance Team, the Saginaw Spirits. She moved to McGaheysville in 2007 and went on to teach at Inspiring Dreams Studio and the Luray Fitness Center School of Dance before she got the position as the Dance Director with Downtown Studios Unlimited School of Dance. She opened On Pointe Dance & Co. 3 years ago and has hosted 3 recitals per year in the Fall, Winter, and Spring.

Fun Fact: She once had to have major surgery on both of her big toes without any anesthesia while she was a dancer and also had to have surgery to remove a thumb tack from her throat!

EMILY ANN SINE

DANCE INSTRUCTIOR/ZUMBA

Emily took her first ballet class when she was 14 years old. For about five years she danced ballet as a student and practiced on pointe as well. During her last year as a student, she interned with her instructor to gain teaching experience. She has been a dance instructor for about five years total and has gained experience and knowledge with other styles of dance such as hip hop, jazz, acro and lyrical. She has also recently became certified to teach Zumba. Emily also has experience with beauty pageants and can get pretty creative with a paint brush and a makeup brush! In her spare time she enjoys being outside with her dogs, reading, writing and anything that has to do with horror and true crime. Her and Nikki started teaching dance together in 2015!

KAYLEE FOLTZ

DANCE INSTRUCTOR

Kaylee Foltz is 24 years old and graduated from Turner Ashby high school in 2017. She has been a student of Nikki’s since 2016. She has been dancing for 12 years and took gymnastics for several years before she started ballet. She performed all different styles of dance and fell in love with lyrical and contemporary. She debuted as her first lead soloist as Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. She has danced with a number of studios over the years in Virginia before she began her teaching career after graduation. This is her 5th season teaching! She’s very excited to teach her newest season in the lyrical style for beginners. Dance has helped her in so many ways, and she wants to share that passion with others!

Fun fact: Kaylee was a 911 operator at Massanutten and a 911 operator for Rockingham County and all Virginia hospitals!
